Jennifer Fenn has been recognized in the ABF Journal’s 2026 Top Women in Specialty Finance issue, a recognition that honors outstanding professionals shaping the future of the specialty finance industry. As a partner in Choate’s nationally recognized Finance and Restructuring Group and co-head of the firm’s Asset-Based Lending (ABL) practice, Jen is a respected leader within the firm and across the industry. She plays a central role in many of Choate’s most significant transactions, representing banks and private credit lenders in complex financing matters with a particular focus on asset-based lending in the retail sector. Clients and colleagues value her ability to guide transactions through every stage of their lifecycle, including originations, restructurings, DIP financings, and emergence financings. Beyond her client work, Jen is a dedicated mentor and leader within the Firm. A former hiring partner, she played a pivotal role in shaping the Firm’s talent strategy and recruitment efforts for many years. Jen also serves on Choate’s Executive Committee and on the steering committee of the Choate Women’s Network, an active community dedicated to fostering connection and professional development among clients, alumni, lawyers, and business professionals.
