Katherine Quezada
Katherine Quezada works with clients in Choate’s Litigation Department. She represents a variety of clients in investigations, commercial disputes, and intellectual property matters, including patent litigation.
While in law school, Katherine served as a Student Attorney in the Access to Justice Clinic where she successfully represented several clients in civil litigation disputes and conducted an award winning study on the impact of a neutral legal curriculum on law students. She was also Co-President of First Generation Professionals, and was on the Board of Women of Color Collaborative.
Prior to law school, Katherine worked as a paralegal for several agencies and organizations, including the New York County District Attorney’s Office and Sanctuary for Families.
Representative Engagements
- Advise and represent universities and education nonprofit in relation to third-party subpoenas in an ongoing federal antitrust suit.
- Represent biotechnology companies in patent infringement suits.
- Represent insurer in dispute concerning annuity commencement dates.
- Assist in representing global insurer in complex reinsurance coverage dispute.
- Advise pro-bono clients in housing and consumer debt matters.
