Choate Represents Rob Hale in $6.1B Acquisition of Boston Celtics

Choate represented Boston-businessman Rob Hale and his affiliate companies, Copley Equity Partners and Fox Rock Capital, in the $6.1B acquisition of the Boston Celtics. Rob is part of the new ownership group led by William Chisholm, managing director and co-founder of Symphony Technology Group, and also includes Boston business executive Bruce Beal Jr., president of Related Companies, and the global investment firm, Sixth Street. The sale is pending approval by the NBA Board of Governors.
